Press Release: Omnevo Strengthens Leadership with the Appointment of Ian Wheeler as Chairman and Harald Eisenächer as Non-Executive Director

WIESBADEN, GERMANY, 19 NOVEMBER 2024 – Omnevo, a leading provider of software solutions for e-commerce supply chain, logistics and buy-on board technology in the aviation and railway sectors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Wheeler who will join the Advisory Board as Chairman and Harald Eisenächer who will join the Advisory Board as non-executive director, both effective from today.  Ian has deep expertise of more than 25 years in the travel and technology industry, scaling small and large cap businesses globally. He spent a large part of his executive career at Amadeus IT Group and today alongside Omnevo he is the advisory board chairman of Skymetrix, chairman of 15Below, non-executive director of Travel Counsellors and of Onyx Centersource. Ian will use his experience to advise Omnevo on further developing and executing it’s growth strategy. Harald brings a wealth of aviation and travel technology experience from his earlier career at Sabre Corporation and more recently as Chief Commercial Officer and Non-Executive Director at Infare (part of OAG).  In addition to serving on the Omnevo Board, Harald is today an independent Non-Executive Director at easyJet PLC and Chairman of the Board at Mimi Hearing Technologies GmbH. Harald will use his extensive experience to advise Omnevo on incorporating best-in-class growth and go-to-market strategies.
